Enhanced Market
The first Friday of every month is now an enhanced market day!
In close co-operation with the market officers from Mendip District Council, and the traders themselves, Shepton 21 has undertaken to help the market become bigger and better with more stalls, more variety of goods and more footfall. The market has been stuck in something of a Catch 22 for a while, with few traders because of low footfall, and vice versa. Shepton 21 is determined to help both things change, but to do that we need the support of local people, so come along and see what he market has to offer, particularly on the first Friday of the month when there will be extra stalls and sometimes music as well! The stalls you will find will vary but among them, to name but a few, are the following:
