Shepton in Bloom

billOnce again, the volunteers turned out to put up all the hanging baskets and plant out the tubs round town. Slide show here.

Particular thanks are due to members of Rotary who, as usual, hung up the baskets; to Wayne Frapple and his lads from Quadron who put out a lot of the troughs, and who have been watering and feeding the plants.

And our very special thanks to all the volunteers who helped plant out.

We have kept the Shepton in Bloom competition going, but had little time to organise it this year and it will be back next year in a much fuller form, as will Secret Gardens.

The prize-giving will be at the Cider House in Kilver Street and we are very grateful once again for Gaymer's hospitality.
