Shepton in Bloom It's been quite a good year for the town's display, though we had to play 'musical baskets' to accommodate the film crew. Synthetic hanging baskets and planters weren't around in the Victorian age!Shepton 21 undertook the watering this year and that was completed on a voluntary basis by some of our committee members so that the fee charged to the Council will go towards S21's work. Particular thanks are also due to members of Rotary who, as usual, hung up the baskets; to Wayne Frapple and his lads from Quadron who put out a lot of the troughs, and a pat on the back for ourselves for watering and feeding the plants. And our very special thanks to all the volunteers who helped plant out. There were some very strong entries to the Shepton in Bloom competition, and we hope to go from strength to strength. Our thanks again go to Gaymers for hosting the prize giving so generously. Here are some images from this year:
