About Shepton 21 Regeneration Partnership

Shepton 21 Regeneration Partnership exists to work with other agencies to take forward the projects outlined in At A Crossroads, the community plan for Shepton Mallet and the surrounding area. We act as the voice for the local community and work to attract funding to develop the plan.

At A Crossroads was published in 2006 and was developed with the support of Shepton 21 Steering Group. In March 2007, Shepton 21 Regeneration Partnership was formed to take over from the Steering Group. We’re a constituted community association with a management committee elected from among the membership.

Shepton 21 Regeneration Partnership is a member of the Market and Coastal Towns Association and is currently funded by the South West Regional Development Agency, Mendip District Council and Shepton Mallet Town Council. We’re also grateful to the sponsorship and time provided by many local businesses and the committed in-put of volunteers and the other organisations with whom we work closely.
